The shoes purchased were as specified and were exactly what I wanted. However I was disappointed that your website shows the shoes being manufactured in the UK, when in fact they were manufactured in India. This contradiction is very annoying as I was under the impression I was supporting a UK manufacturing operation when in fact I was not.

I ordered 2pair of Hugo shoes for my husband. I received an email stating that the black ones were out of stock until August. I opted to have the brown pair so that my husband could try for size. When they arrived on the box it said brown size 9 which was size ordered. When we opened the box it contained black shoes size 41.5 instead of 43 therefore were no good as they didn't fit. I returned the shoes and have been refunded. I have had to cancel the black shoes as they will not arrive before we go on holiday. I have ordered shoes in the past for myself with no problem. As you can imagine my husband who is very sceptical about ordering on line was not satisfied with his order. We are waiting for a refund of the cancelled black shoes.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
