I love my new leopard print Birdie shoes. I bought them in a size 6 wide fit and they are comfy and fit really well with soft suede leather and no wearing in required. The removable insoles are really useful, I've removed them for now but can put them back as the leather in the shoes naturally stretches. They go with lots of outfits, are perfect for Autumn, and I like that they have a small wedge heel and are not completely flat. However, I've given 4 stars and not 5 as the design has already faded slightly on the toe area which is a little disappointing.

Loved the shoes and colour. I am glad they had removable insoles which I did have to take out as the shoes were a bit tight for me as I have to wear elasticated stockings. Taking out the removable soles alleviated the problem and now they are so comfortable and still room to wear thick stockings in the winter. Also delivery was very quick. Have had a few Hotter shoes before and have been happy with them all.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
