These were not photographed on a foot and appeared to be less high cut than trainers. Unfortunately they are as high as standard trainers. That is a style I find uncomfortable and is also very unflattering to ankles which are not slim or tend to swell. I need shoes which are fairly high cut but not as high as trainers. These are difficult to find. Hotter has a very small number but they are patterned which makes them less versatile than plain colours. I find Hotter frequently adds fussy details. To me that says “These are old lady shoes but I am trying to pretend they are not.” I felt quality not as good as in the past …zips were slightly wonky.

This is my second pair of this shoe (Ruby). I have the navy and black, they are so comfortable and I wear them all day when I have days away from home.

Which fitting is right for you?

Standard fit

This is the most common fitting within our collection. If you usually buy a standard fit when buying footwear, we recommend trying this fit, otherwise known as a ‘D’ fit for women and ‘F-G’ for men.

Wide fit

Our second biggest fitting, perfect for those who want a little more room in their shoes. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘E-EE’ fit for women and ‘G-H’ for men.

Extra Wide fit

This is the broadest of all our fittings, giving your feet extra room in your shoes to help you stay comfortable. This fitting is otherwise known as a ‘EEE’ fit for women.

Dual fit

This means the shoe will have a 2mm foam removable insole underneath its top insole, which when removed helps to offer a roomier fit.

There is no such thing as the perfect foot, but there might just be such a thing as the perfect fit.
